- Education: Bachelor's and master's degrees in English literature, with presentations and refereed publications in the field
- Teaching: extensive teaching experience, including teaching 20 sections of college-level Literature, Rhetoric, and Composition
- Experience: Five years as the national lead training developer for Watermark Retirement Communities; my duties included researching and training on all positions, from line staff to executives
- Web-based Solutions: Extensive experience with web-based solutions for training needs; this includes teaching experience in one of the University of Arizona's first computer classrooms, as well as deploying on-line learning modules for Watermark
